  • January 11 2016 -  The JATC is collecting names for a Poly-Fusion course. This is open to all Journeymen Plumbers and Pipefitters. Location to be determined.   • January 5 2016 - The JATC is  presently collecting names for a G2 course. The course would run in the winter/spring of 2016 on nights and weekends between Moncton and Saint John.  If you have any interested please forward the names to the JATC at This email address is being protected from spambots.   • December 7 2015 -  The JATC has rescheduled the Steward course in Miramichi for January 6&7 2016.

 

  • December 7 2015 - WHMIS 2015 will have to be completed by all members. Along with your current WHMIS, this course will have to be completed. Free Upgrade: http://www.ccohs.ca/products/courses/whmis_workers/  Once you have completed the course, please send your certificate to This email address is being protected from spambots. Nov 19 &20 (16 hours)/Miramichi - NAUSC Steward Certification (Journeymen and 4th year apprentices)

Nov 26 (4 hours)/Miramichi - Standard For Excellence (open to all apprentices and journeymen)

Nov 30 - Dec 4 (40 hours)/Miramichi - NAUSC Foreman Certification (Journeymen and 4th year apprentices)

 

  • October 19, 2015 - The JATC has scheduled another Inspection Testing and Maintenance (ITM) course that will run in the Moncton area November 20th, 21st, and 27th, 28th. Must be a Journeyman Sprinklerfitter. If you are interested, please contact our office.
  • The JATC is currently taking names for the following courses:  CSA Rigging Certification, NAUSC Steward Certification and Foreman Certification.  Please contact our office to add your name to the list.

 

  • August 28, 2015 - There will be a Fall Protection course on Sept 3rd in Miramichi. If you wish to be         registered, please call our office.

 

  • August 21, 2015 - All members must have their Safety courses up to date in order to be dispatched forany New Brunswick jobs.  Please call us if you need to update your courses.       
  • August 13, 2015 - There will be an On Demand Confined Space course in Moncton August 26&27. If would like to reserve a seat, please call the office for location details.  **Cancelled**

News from IPT Ann Abor, Michigan...

A historic event with the signing of an affiliation agreement between the United Association and the Plumbing Division of the Communication, Electrical and Plumbing Union of Australia, the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters and Champions for Charity sponsoring their first annual 5k run and pub crawl to raise awareness and financial support of the Semper Fi-Fund, and a record number of first time attendees, just to mention a few amazing occurrences during the 59th Instructor Training Program.

Congratulations to UA General President William Hite and UA Director of Training Christopher Haslinger, along with the great UA staff on the exceptional job they do on this program – the premiere training program in the construction industry.

It has been an amazing week. Everyone is happy to see the UA return to Michigan. Along with the Michigan State Pipe Trades and representatives from Michigan Mechanical Contractors Association, we sincerely hope your stay has been a happy one.
